Police looking for Pineville hit and run driver

PINEVILLE, N.C. — Police are looking for the driver who hit a man and drove off Monday night in Pineville.

That man is in the hospital Tuesday morning with serious injuries.

Police said the man was struck by a car around 10 p.m. Monday on Rock Hill-Pineville Road near Downs Road.

Officials said the victim was coherent in the ambulance but were not sure if he would survive.
