Police looking for suspect in armed robbery at restaurant

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are trying to identify a suspect in an armed robbery of a McDonald’s.

Investigators released surveillance photos of the man they said was involved in a Nov. 23 robbery of a McDonald’s on North Wendover Road.

Officers said the suspect is described as a white man in his mid-30s who is 5 feet 8 inches tall and 140 pounds. He was wearing a gray zip-up hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and a faded blue ball cap, police said.
