Police make arrests after two men robbed at gunpoint in north Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Officers arrested two people they said robbed two men at gunpoint Friday night in north Charlotte.

Two men were selling a cellphone around 10 p.m. on Lynn Lee Circle near West Sugar Creek Road when they were robbed. The robbers made off with the cellphone, shoes and money, police said.

Police later caught the two people, who have not yet been identified. They are charged with robbery.

Officers found some of the stolen items as well as the gun they believe the accused robbers used.
