CHARLOTTE — A man in east Charlotte was robbed and then shot around 2:45 a.m. Monday.
Officials said four suspects took $1,000, cigarettes, a ring and a cell phone outside the Farm Ponds shops on Albemarle Road.
As he was running away a suspect shot the man in the back of the head. The victim was transported to Carolinas Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
Officials are looking for the suspects who got away in a white vehicle.
