CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are investigating a shooting in southwest Charlotte that left one person hurt late Monday night.
Officers told Channel 9 that one person was shot in the middle of Grapevine Drive, near South Tryon Street.
Investigators said two men were walking down the street when they were approached by a dark sedan, and someone inside the vehicle shot at the men.
The victim was taken to Carolinas Medical Center with what police said are non-life threatening injuries.
His name has not been released.
Police said they do not have a suspect description.
