CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Police need the public’s help in identifying the man suspected of robbing the Family Dollar on South Tryon Street.
Authorities said the suspect is a 30-year-old black man, about 6 feet 3 inches tall, weighing more than 300 pounds, with a mustache and goatee.
Investigators said he pretended to buy something at the store and then tried to stab the clerk with a screwdriver.
