Police released surveillance photos of a bank robber who they said held up the SunTrust Bank in Matthews Thursday afternoon.
Police said the man was wearing a dark gray Champion brand sweatshirt with an orange traffic vest over it, blue jeans, white Nike sneakers with a black swoosh, dark sunglasses and a black mask.
Investigators said the man did have a gun during the robbery.
The robber fled on foot towards Irwin Lane and Main Street.
Nobody was injured in the robbery.
Anyone with information about the robber is asked to call Matthews police at 704-847-5555.
