Police need help finding man who pulled gun on gas station clerk

ALBEMARLE, N.C. — Albemarle police are looking for a man they said robbed a gas station clerk earlier this week.

Officers told Eyewitness News that the robber entered the Olympia Gas Station on South Second Street around 10 p.m. Monday, pointed a handgun at the clerk and demanded cash from the register before running off with an undisclosed amount of money.

Nobody was hurt.

Police described the thief as a white man, 5 foot 8 inches tall, weighing approximately 150 pounds wearing a dark colored hooded jacket.
