CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Officers with the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department responded to a shooting on LaSalle Street Saturday afternoon, officials said.
The shooting occurred just after noon in the 1400 block of LaSalle Street, near I-77.
Paramedics said one person was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
