Police: Robber caught in west Charlotte bank heist

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police have made an arrest in a west Charlotte bank robbery.

Channel 9 showed surveillance photos earlier this week of the robber.

Police said the photos show Mario Roane robbing the Woodforest National Bank on Wilkinson Boulevard, inside of the Walmart.

Police arrested Roane Wednesday.

They also identified a second suspect, but said he won't be facing charges.
