Police search for two men suspected of robbing Charlotte 7-Eleven

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte-Mecklenburg police officers are looking for two men who they say robbed the 7-Eleven/Exxon gas station on East Independence Boulevard at gunpoint Saturday morning.

The store clerk told police that two black men, described as being in their 20s, approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing 130 pounds, walked into the gas station around 1:30 a.m. and left in a small silver or gray two-door vehicle, police said.

Police said one man was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, shredded blue jeans and white sneakers. The other man was described as wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with some type of white logo on the front, dark pants, dark shoes and possibly has a mustache.

No shots fired or injuries were reported.
