Police search for suspect in robbery case in Enochville

KANNAPOLIS, N.C. — On Nov. 7, the Xpress Mart on West "C" Street, in Enochville, was robbed by a black male armed with a pump shotgun.

This robbery was similar to robberies that had occurred in Kannapolis and China Grove.

During the course of the investigation, investigators determined the robberies were related, and involved several suspects working together.

On Thursday, Nov. 15, Kannapolis police arrested Johntavious Billings on suspicion of being involved in their robberies.

Information from the Kannapolis and China Grove cases led to the Rowan County Sheriff's Office identifying 33-year-old Deangelo Artavis Chisolm as the suspect in the Nov. 7 Enochville robbery.

Detectives were able to confirm Chisolm as the suspect and warrants for robbery with a dangerous weapon have been issued for his arrest.

Chisolm's last known address is Kentucky Street, Kannapolis.
