CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police have reunited a toddler with her family after they said she was found in Alexander Street Park on East 12th Street.
Police said a man called them around 9:20 a.m. Sunday after he saw a little girl wandering around the park.
The girl's guardian said she called police after seeing the child's picture on the news.
(NOTE: Channel 9 Eyewitness News is the only local noon newscast on Sundays)
The girl is believed to be 2 or 3 years old.
The Department of Social Services is investigating the incident.
