Police seeking suspects in Garinger High School robbery

CHARLOTTE — According to a release from the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department, a victim was robbed at Garinger High School on Thursday afternoon.

The victim told police one suspect had a silver revolver in his waistband and took the victim's cellphone. After taking the cellphone, the suspects fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are requesting the public's assistance to identify the suspects in a photo.

The first suspect is described as a black male in his late teens, approximately 6 feet tall with a thin build and short hair. He was last seen wearing a red T-shirt and tan pants. The second suspect is described as a black male in his late teens, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall with a thin build. He has long dreads and was last seen wearing a black shirt and light-colored shorts.
