Police: Student suspended after threats to teacher

HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. — A fourth grader was suspended from school after kicking a teacher and threatening to shoot up the school, according to a police report.

A police report filed Thursday said a student threatened to beat up a teacher.

The 10-year-old goes to Blythe Elementary in Huntersville.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools officials said the student has special needs, but wouldn't elaborate.
