CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are trying to figure out how a teenage girl was shot early Tuesday morning.
Officers said a 19-year-old girl was shot while riding in a car on Harrisburg Road around 3 a.m. and taken to Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center with possible life-threatening injuries.
There have been no arrests and police have not released any further details on the shooting.
