Police: Thieves steal rings off apartment manager's fingers during robbery

YORK, S.C. — Police in York are looking for the men who they said robbed an apartment leasing office.

The Hunter Bay apartment manager said she was scared for her life when the men demanded money Tuesday.

She said she told them she didn't have any money.

Police said the men then started digging through her purse and desk drawers.

They even took rings off her fingers and then ran away, police said.
