Police think same pair behind 2 early morning robberies in Hickory

HICKORY, N.C. — Hickory police believe two men accused of robbing a Walgreens early Thursday morning also robbed a convenience store in Granite Falls overnight.

The robbery at the Walgreens happened around 3:45 a.m. on North Center Street. Investigators told Channel 9 that they think the same suspects hit the Murphy's Express in Granite Falls as well.

Police said the suspects did not wear masks during the robbery at the gas station, but did at the pharmacy.

No injuries were reported in either crime.
