MORGANTON, N.C. - A Morganton woman is facing charges after police said she drove drunk with her 8-year-old daughter in the car.
An officer said he noticed Hannah Shorthouse driving all over the road Saturday night and said he smelled alcohol when he pulled her over.
The officer took Shorthouse into custody after he said she failed several field sobriety tests.
Authorities placed her daughter in the grandmother's custody.
