Police: Woman taken to CMC after dog attack

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A woman is at Carolinas Medical Center – Main with life-threatening injuries after a dog attack in north Charlotte.

Medic and police responded to the 5800 block of Linda Vista Lane around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Police said the attack involved more than one pit bull or pit bull mix.

The owner turned the dogs over to Animal Care and Control.

Police haven't decided whether to charge the owner. They haven't released the name of the owner or the victim.
