CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A busy road in south Charlotte is back open Tuesday after a gas line was cut, Charlotte Department of Transportation officials said.
CDOT officials said earlier that it would remain closed through rush hour. They have corrected that around 3:20 p.m. saying all lanes are open.
Providence Road between between Jefferson Drive and Pine Tree Drive was closed.
Charlotte Department of Transportation officials urged drivers to use Sardis Road and Lansdowne Road as an alternate route.
Charlotte Area Transit buses were affected by the closure.
