Power lines down on top of school bus in south Charlotte

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A school bus crashed as it was headed to Myers Park High School Friday morning.

There were no kids on the bus when it crashed and knocked down power lines on Southlancer Drive and Providence Lane West.

The power lines fell on the bus and trapped the driver inside.

The driver was rescued and the crash has been cleared.
