SALISBURY, N.C. — Ground breaking is scheduled for this weekend for a Salisbury animal clinic that was destroyed by fire nearly a year ago.

Earlier this week, crews started grading the area to prepare it for the new construction.

Fire investigators said they will never know exactly what started the fire.

The Fire Marshal's Office did determine the February fire started in the attic, but the damage is so extensive, they cannot say how it started.
