CHARLOTTE, N.C. — He came back to his longtime NFL home to retire, but former Panthers running back Jonathan Stewart showed Wednesday it wasn’t only about getting to put his name on the back of a Carolina blue and black jersey one last time.
Stewart was out in the Charlotte community a day after retiring from football, hosting about 140 students at the Park Road Montessori School. The event was a Panthers Play 60 camp at Freedom Park.
