YORK COUNTY, S.C. — A registered sex offender is in jail Wednesday night accused of exposing himself and lying in bed with a 9-year old girl for several months.
A woman told York County deputies that her daughter was being sexually harassed by Christopher Powell.
The girl also told deputies that Powell showed her a book with explicit pictures.
Powell was convicted of sexual battery back in 1996 with a 5-year old girl.
