DENVER, N.C. — Firefighters in Lincoln County said a fire destroyed a vacation rental house on Lake Norman.
The fire started just before 5 a.m. Sunday off Ranger Island Marina Road in Denver.
Firefighters say when they got there, flames were going through the roof.
They called in extra help from Mecklenburg County. Investigators haven't said what started the fire.
No one was inside the home.
