MAIDEN, N.C. —

The reward to help track down the person who shot and left a dog to die in Lincoln County has gone up to $1,450.

The support started pouring in after Camilla the dog's story was shared earlier this month.

The reward started out at $500.

Camilla was found dumped on Sorrells Baxter Road in Maiden after Christmas.

Her injuries were so severe she had to have an eye removed. She's now being fostered by a rescue group in Maiden.
