CHARLOTTE, N.C. —

Robbers have hit two more restaurants in the Charlotte area over the past two days.

Channel 9 looked over the police reports Tuesday and right now, we're asking detectives if these could be connected with eight other restaurant robberies in the Charlotte area over the past week.

Employees of Fiesta Maya told Eyewitness News on Sunday two men walked into the restaurant and pulled out guns.

The men demanded to see a manager and asked him to give up the cash.

The manager did not give them any money and the gunmen immediately fled.

Another restaurant, the Smoothie King on Pineville-Matthews Road, was robbed Monday.

Detectives are warning employees and customers to be aware.
