ROCK HILL, S.C. — Drivers in Rock Hill are seeing the lowest gas prices in the country.
For a couple of weeks, prices at several Rock Hill stations stayed well below $3 per gallon.
The average price so far in the month of August has been $3.08.
Rising crude oil production is expected to keep prices low and experts say the average in Rock Hill could reach $3 this fall.
In Charlotte, drivers are paying $3.31 -- just under the state average of $3.34.
South Carolina has the lowest average in the nation at $3.15.
