Rock Hill man charged with DUI after crashing Jeep, killing passenger, authorities say

ROCK HILL, S.C. — A 21-year-old Rock Hill man has been charged with felony DUI causing death after a crash Saturday on Interstate 77, officials said.

Tylik Simril was driving a Jeep in York County near the Gold Hill Road exit when authorities said he drove into a median barrier flipping the vehicle..

The impact killed Simril's passenger, Jared Blake.

No further information has been released.
