CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Charlotte is in store for a little bit of everything temperature-wise this weekend.
The temps go up Friday then drop Saturday before bouncing back on Sunday. Most of the changes will occur with dry conditions, though.
The mountains will be seeing light snow this weekend, but Charlotte will stay dry. There is a small chance for a few flakes Sunday morning, but it would be brief and wouldn't cause any issues.
The skies will be sunny Friday with temps in the lower 50s. The next blast of cold air will arrive Friday night, lowering temps into the lower 20s Saturday morning.
No rain is in the forecast for the next five days -- the first time that's happened since before Christmas.
