The Charlotte-based restaurant concept said on Wednesday that it will open a 13th location at 9325 J.W. Clay Blvd. in the University City area. The 1,900-square-foot store is located within the Lynx Blue Station at J.W. Clay Boulevard.
The light-rail extension, which added a 9.3-mile line between uptown and UNC Charlotte, opened in March 2018 and has spurred a wave of development along the transit addition.
Sabor is set to open its University location this fall, with a date in October or November as the target. It will mark the first restaurant to open inside a Lynx station, Tobe Holmes, University City Partners planning and development director, said in a news release.
