SALISBURY, N.C. — A man is on the run after he demanded drugs from a CVS pharmacist in Salisbury, police said.
The man entered the CVS on East Innes Street just before 9 p.m. on Friday and slipped the pharmacist a note demanding oxycodone, police said.
The man said he would start shooting if he didn’t get what he wanted, but he never showed a weapon, according to officials.
He left the store after the pharmacist handed him the drugs.
He is 6 feet tall and was last seen wearing gold sunglasses, short dreadlocks, a peach-colored shirt and khaki pants.
