SC high school students earn money for good grades through online platform

High school students in South Carolina can earn money for A grades through a micro-scholarship program offered by an online platform, according to a report by The Post and Courier in Charleston.

The Post and Courier reported that several colleges and universities in the state have partnered with a website called Raise.Me, which allows students to accrue “micro-scholarships” during high school.

Katie Mooney, Raise.Me director of College Partnerships, told The Post and Courier that 7,200 high school students have created profiles on the site and said that those who use the platform earn an average of $22,500 in scholarships wherever they attend.
