SC restaurant sign mocks Clowney's speeding tickets

ROCK HILL, S.C. — The agent for a South Carolina college football star is threatening legal action if a Rock Hill restaurant owner doesn't take down a sign using Jadeveon Clowney's name.

This week Clowney's agent called the owner of the sandwich shop on Cherry Road and demanded he take it down.

The sign reads, "Hurry in for our JaDeveon Clowney sub it goes really fast."

The agent said it's illegal to use without permission.

The sign is meant as a play on words over the speeding tickets Clowney has recently received.

The shop owner told Channel 9 he will leave it up until Monday.
