CHESTER COUNTY, S.C. — Authorities were investigating a deadly crash Monday afternoon involving a school bus near Chester.
Officials said a vehicle was T-boned by the school bus on Ashford Road and Mountain Lakes Road.

The driver of the car, 83-year-old Robert Dixon, was killed.
EMS says a vehicle T-boned a Chester School bus at Ashford Rd and Mtn Lakes. A person in the car was killed. All on the bus are ok.

Officials said there were 16 students and the driver on the bus at the time of the crash but that no one on the bus was hurt or taken to the hospital.
It's still unclear what caused the crash.
