CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Several people were hurt, including children, in a crash Saturday afternoon on Interstate 85 in north Charlotte.
The wreck happened around 4:45 p.m. in the southbound lanes of I-85, near Mallard Creek Church Road.
Two lanes were closed and paramedics said the rushed a total of seven people to the hospital, one withe serious injuries and six others with minor injuries.
Authorities have not said how many vehicles were involved or what caused the crash.
