Several cities across the Carolinas have been named among the best in the nation for people seeking jobs in science, technology, engineering and math.
The personal finance website WalletHub compared the 100 largest metro areas in the U.S. and looked at job openings for STEM graduates and yearly pay increases.
Raleigh ranked 22nd, followed by Charlotte at 37th.
Greenville, Columbia, Charleston and Winston-Salem also made the list.
