Sheriff: Missing Iredell County man found safe

IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. — A 32-year-old man who had been missing for more than a month has been found safe, according to the Iredell County Sheriff's Office.

Family members of Shaun Brandon Carter reported him missing to the Sheriff’s Office on Dec. 21 and said he had not been seen for about a month.

Family members told deputies that Carter was working at Accuma Corporation in Statesville and was last seen picking up his paycheck.

Family members said Carter told his employer that he would not be back to work.

Deputies didn't reveal where Carter was found.
