• Police investigate Uptown shooting

    CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Police and Mecklenburg EMS Agency responded to the scene of a shooting that happened Friday night at West 10th Street and North Tryon Street.

    MEDIC officials said they transported one patient with life-threatening injuries to Carolinas Medical Center.
