McCaffrey spent time shopping with 15 athletes as part of Dick’s Sporting Goods’ “Celebrate Youth Sports Weekend.”
The kids were given a $150 gift card to help them gear up for the season, and McCaffrey helped them pick out their equipment.
This isn’t the first time this year a Panther has taken part in a surprise shopping spree.
Defensive linebacker Luke Kuechly surprised 10 young athletes in June with $100 gift cards and also served as a personal shopping consultant for them.
