CHARLOTTE — Chopper 9 was overhead Tuesday as a short police chase led to arrests in west Charlotte.
The chase ended on Centre Street where people in the stolen car got out and ran.
Officers were seen using a dog to track them and three people were seen being taken into custody.
Tamaya Stewart owns the stolen car and said she left her keys inside the vehicle Tuesday morning.
“Thank God nobody got hurt and my car is still in good condition,” Stewart said.
There is no word on charges as of Tuesday afternoon.
