CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are searching for the man who fired shots Tuesday morning inside a 7-Eleven in east Charlotte.
Officers were called to the gas station at 12:30 a.m. on Eastway Drive and Central Avenue. They said the man tried to rob the store and then fired shots inside.

No one was hurt.
Channel 9 has contacted police to find out if the robber got away with some cash and if they have a description.
