SHELBY, N.C. — A Silver Alert was canceled for a 79-year-old Cleveland County man.
Officials with the North Carolina Center for Missing Persons said Sunday that James Albert Tyson was reported missing and was believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.
Tyson was last seen on Camden Court in Shelby, officials said. He was wearing black pants, a green jacket and glasses.
Tyson is described as black, 6 feet 4 inches tall and 201 pounds. He is bald and has brown eyes.
