Sons recovering after father accidentally runs them over

CONCORD, N.C. — A Concord father who accidentally ran over his two young sons over the weekend said one of them has been released from the hospital.

Investigators said the boys were riding on the back of a landscape trailer when they fell off on Chatham Oaks Drive.

That's when police said their father accidentally ran them over with the trailer. The father told Channel 9 his other son is still in the hospital with leg and back injuries.

Police haven't said if the father will be charged.
