CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Charlotte-Mecklenburg police arrested several drivers at an overnight DWI checkpoint in south Charlotte.
Officers set up on Park Road near the YMCA and told Channel 9 they charged 12 drivers with DWI and 16 for having either a revoked license or having no license at all.
The checkpoint was part of the ‘Booze it and Lose it’ campaign leading into Saint Patrick's Day weekend.
