ROCK HILL, S.C. — A standoff took place Thursday in Rock Hill after a man barricaded himself inside a home, investigators said.
Channel 9 crews could see a long line of patrol cars around 3:30 p.m. along Brownstone Drive near Finley Road.
Deputies believed a man was inside a home, but he was not found.
Sources said the situation could be linked to an earlier shooting along Jefferson Avenue. Police said they found a 49-year-old man who had been shot in the chest sitting on the steps of a home. He had serious injuries and was taken to the hospital.
