STATESVILLE, NC — A 35-year-old Statesville man faces multiple sex offense accusations involving an 11-year--old child.
The Iredell County Sheriff’s Office said it happened between July and December.
Deputies began investigating the case last week after getting a report of possible sexual assault.
They've now charged Daniel Jackie Greene with felony indecent liberties with a child, felony first-degree statutory sex offense on minor by an adult, felony statutory rape of child by an adult, and felony first-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.
Bond was set at $200,000.
Deputies said the investigation is still open and more charges are expected.
