STATESVILLE, N.C. - Families in Statesville are gearing up for a fight Tuesday morning, to keep a truck stop out of their neighborhood.
Channel 9 has been following for more than a year.
Neighbors appealed the city’s decision to put a Love’s Truck Stop near exit 154 off Interstate 40.
The Board of Adjustment has heard the evidence and will meet at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday to hear arguments before the ruling.
If it rules in favor of the city, neighbors would have to take the case to court.
