CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Mecklenburg County is among four local counties ranked in the ten healthiest in North Carolina.
The yearly study named Watauga County second healthiest, with Union County fourth and Mecklenburg sixth. Cabarrus County came in ninth.
Wake County was ranked as the healthiest in the state.
The study looked at factors like access to healthy foods, smoking, teen birth rates and obesity.
